Our BREAD BOWL CUTTER cuts a perfect, concentic, vertical hole in your round loaf of bread as deep as you like. The cutter works best when the bread is cool or room temperature. When your bread has an extremely hard crust, ie; sour dough bread, just cut off the top 1/4" or so with a knife first. This will give you a good starting point for the BREAD BOWL CUTTER. The stainless steel blade of the BREAD BOWL CUTTER cuts any shape of bread loaf effortlessly. You're not limited to only round loaves. Using Italian or French bread enables you to offer two or three dips from one loaf. You can probably think of more uses for the BREAD BOWL CUTTER. Bread Bowl Cutter
Our Bread Bowler is the utensil to use when you'd like to serve chili or chowder in a bread bowl. It's simple to use, even on a very crusty round of bread as shown. Just cut a thin slice off the top, and proceed with the Bowler by turning (clockwise) as it cuts a circular hole. When the hole is as deep as you want, back out the cutter, grasp the bread that's been cut, and with a slight twist it will lift out. The diameter of the cutter is 3-1/4 inches.
